2️⃣Article II - Structure
GFTV is divided into four sections, referred to by their respective acronyms in the Charter:
7.1 the Community Initiative and Outreach (CIO) Division,
7.2 the Core Content Support (CCS) Team,
7.3 the Media and News Division (MAWS),
7.4 the Policy, Action and Leadership (PAL) Division.
The Divisions and Personnel within shall work together regardless of their posted roles.
Community Initiative and Outreach (CIO) Division
The CIO’s Purpose is to —
9.1 engage the furry community deeper by —
9.2 creating offline and online spaces and initiatives for such engagements.
To support and reach its Purpose, the CIO will
10.1 establish and manage GFTV Initiatives and Spaces: the Online Communities (OC), Community Events (CE.), Furry Convention Status Tracker (FURST) and Furry Statistics Centre (FurStat);
10.1.1 The Community Rules (CR) will govern OC and CE.
10.1.2 The GFTV News Standards will govern FURST and FurStat.
10.2 employ physical signages: the Hello Spot, Meet Spot, or Group Placards —
10.2.1 to enhance public outreach and exposure, build connection with the general public, assist in event ushering or for ceremonial purposes —
10.2.2 at GFTV events, mass public events such as cosplay or furry conventions or other events where Personnel are attending, who are authorised by the Project Head or the Operations Officer —
10.2.3 the plans of which will be stated in itineraries or notified to relevant parties if needed in advance, subject to approval and context —
10.2.4 without violating the law, such as the Public Order Act 2009.
10.3 collaborate with furry communities, organisers, and partners to expand community engagement and cultural exchange within GFTV's capacity; and
10.4 ensure that no engagements mentioned above violate the Charter.
Core Content Support (CCS) Team
The Core Content Support (CCS) Team’s Purpose is to —
11.1 give GFTV membership applicants a flexible way to contribute to GFTV in various roles and areas;
11.2 facilitate learning experiences and portfolio building; and
11.3 explore one’s skill sets and abilities.
To support and reach its Purpose, the CCS will —
12.1 support the workflows and processes of the CIO, MAWS and PAL; and
12.2 employ mentorship and on-the-job learning methods for CCS Members in cooperation with Officers and Division Leaders.
Media and News (MAWS) Division
The Media and News (MAWS) Division’s Purpose is to produce quality informative and entertaining content on the furry fandom.
To support and reach its Purpose, the MAWS will —
14.1 produce content for GFTV’s online content platforms according to the GFTV Programme Rating System;
14.2 engage in newsgathering according to the GFTV News Standards;
14.3 work with the CCS Team to support content creation; and
14.4 engage with audiences and cooperate with them and the CIO to democratise GFTV’s news process, grow GFTV’s communities and facilitate GFTV’s growth.
Policy, Action and Leadership (PAL) Division
The Policy, Action and Leadership (PAL) Division’s Purpose is to direct and further GFTV’s daily operations, objectives and administration to fulfil GFTV’s Purpose.
To support and reach its Purpose, the PAL will have the power on behalf of GFTV to —
16.1 sign, execute, accept or undertake any deeds, documents, trusts or gifts that benefit or align with GFTV’s Purpose subject to Article VI of the Charter;
16.2 appoint another Team Member or Officer to fill any Officer vacancy until new candidates are elected for the vacancy;
16.3 ensure discipline among Personnel;
16.4 appoint sub-committees with powers to co-opt Team Members, including CCS Members into the sub-committees, which shall be responsible to the PAL;
16.5 manage and move all movable and immovable properties of GFTV; and
16.6 organise and maintain the Organisation’s funds.
The following named Officers shall collectively form the PAL and serve as GFTV’s de facto board of directors and the supreme decision-making authority:
17.1 The Project Head will lead and direct all operations of GFTV and also represent GFTV when dealing with outside persons;
17.2 The Operations Officer will assist the Project Head in directing GFTV, and will, in the Project Head’s absence, serve in their place; and
17.3 The Division Leaders will manage their respective Divisions’ operations and work with Sub-Division Leaders.
